The recipe is based on dehydrated chicken (27%) and fresh chicken meat (26%), plus yellow peas (22%) and dried apples (9%). Crude protein is 34%, crude fat 15% and crude fibre 4%. It contains taurine, psyllium husks and seeds, nasturtium, prebiotics and probiotics. According to the manufacturer, taurine supports eyesight and the heart, fibre supports digestion, and L-methionine together with a low magnesium content (0.05%) helps keep urine pH between 6.0 and 6.5.
4 Käppa advice: keep an eye on your older cat's appetite and body weight. According to the feeding table, a 3 to 5 kg cat needs 50 to 70 g a day, so a 2 kg bag lasts about 28 to 40 days. Serve dry or moistened with lukewarm water. The food can be available to the cat throughout the day. Switch to the new food gradually over 7 to 10 days. Fresh drinking water should always be available.
