If your dog or cat eats dry food, you can add a little salmon oil to it. Brit Care salmon oil is 100% salmon oil for dogs and cats in a 500 ml bottle.

The oil contains 8.90% eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and 11.14% docosahexaenoic acid (DHA); both are omega-3 fatty acids. Fat is 99%. According to the manufacturer, salmon oil supports healthy skin and coat. The oil is made in the Czech Republic.

For dogs, the daily dose by body weight is 4 to 16 ml: 4 ml for dogs under 12 kg and 8 ml for dogs of 12 to 24 kg. The dose for cats is given on the pack.

4 Käppa advice: add the oil to the regular food and start with a smaller amount. For a small dog, a 500 ml bottle lasts about 4 months. If the skin itches or the coat sheds for a long time, talk to your vet.
