Suited to an omnivore, the recipe includes poultry meal as a source of animal protein, with rice, whole wheat (20%) and maize for energy. Crude protein 13% and crude fat 4.5% give the food a moderate energy content; measure the daily portion for an adult rat. Linseed (1%) supports skin and coat, and the prebiotic FOS supports digestion.
According to the manufacturer's table, the daily amount is 15 g for a small rat (about 250 g) and 25 g for a large one (about 400 g); the exact amount is on the pack. A 1.5 kg bag lasts one rat two to three months by calculation. Switch to the new food over 7 to 10 days.

Feeding guide
Daily amount according to the manufacturer's table: small rat (about 250 g) 15 g, large rat (about 400 g) 25 g; the exact amount is on the pack. Nuggets are the main food; add a small amount of fresh greens or vegetables daily and keep fresh drinking water available at all times. Nuggets can be hidden around the cage so the rat can forage. Switch to the new food over 7 to 10 days by gradually mixing it into the current food.
