The food contains 16.5% crude fibre and only 4% crude fat; the manufacturer's figure for beneficial fibre is 31%. The base is whole wheat and dried lucerne, and mint (1%) adds taste. The prebiotic FOS supports digestion, antioxidants the immune system, and added vitamins and minerals the skin and dense coat. Every nugget has the same composition, so the animal cannot pick out only the tastiest pieces.
According to the manufacturer's table, the daily amount is small: 12 g for a 500 g chinchilla and 20 g for an 800 g animal; the exact amount is on the pack. A 1.5 kg bag lasts one chinchilla 75 to 125 days by calculation, depending on the daily amount. Hay must remain the main food, 85 to 90% of the daily diet.

Feeding guide
Daily amount according to the manufacturer's table: 500 g chinchilla 12 g, 800 g chinchilla 20 g; the exact amount is on the pack. Hay or fresh grass should make up 85 to 90% of the daily diet; nuggets are a small portion, plus a small amount of fresh greens. Fresh drinking water must be available at all times. Switch to the new food over 14 to 28 days by gradually mixing it into the current food.

Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and heat sources.
