The nuggets contain 1,050 mg of protected vitamin C per kg and 17% crude protein; the manufacturer's figure for beneficial fibre is 31%. Grass meal is the first ingredient; dried blackcurrant and oregano add taste. Every nugget has the same composition, so a guinea pig cannot pick out the tastiest pieces and leave the rest in the bowl. The prebiotic FOS supports digestion and antioxidants support the immune system.
The nuggets are a complementary food and only a small part of the day: 85 to 90% of a guinea pig's diet should be hay, plus a handful of fresh greens. The exact daily amount is on the pack. Switch to the new food over 14 to 28 days.

Feeding guide
