A dog's mouth needs care just like its coat or claws, and a treat is often something the dog looks forward to alongside its daily care routine. Canvit Dental is a complementary food for dogs: small cubes with chicken, chlorella, clove, collagen and sodium hexametaphosphate.

It contains potato, chicken 15%, liquid starch, herring oil 5%, hydrolysed chicken liver, collagen, chlorella (5 g/kg), sodium hexametaphosphate (2 g/kg) and clove (1 g/kg). Crude protein is 16% and crude fat 7.5%. According to the manufacturer, the treat helps reduce the formation of plaque and the development of gingivitis, as well as bad breath. The 200 g pack contains about 250 cubes. At 10 cubes a day for a 10 kg dog, it lasts about 25 days.

4 Käppa advice: feed the cubes straight from your hand, as the manufacturer recommends 1 to 2 cubes per kilogram of body weight a day. Count treats in the daily food amount and always keep fresh drinking water available. The treat does not replace tooth brushing or vet check-ups.
