After some thorough digging, litter may end up next to the box too. JOTA is an open litter box with high sides.

There is no lid, so you can get straight into the box to add litter and clean. The rounded corners make cleaning easier.

The taupe box is made of polypropylene and weighs 0.62 kg. JOTA is made in Italy and its size label is L.

4 Käppa advice: put the new box in a place your cat knows and watch whether it is used as usual. Before buying, check that your cat can turn around freely inside the box and can step over the edge. If your cat suddenly starts going outside the litter box, consult a vet.
