If you want to bring some variety to your dog's or cat's usual food, a small amount of fish powder is enough. Island of Pets Gourmet fish powder is made from 100% Baltic herring and is sprinkled over the food of dogs and cats.

There is nothing in the powder but herring: no additives and no preservatives. Crude protein is 41.14% and crude fat 24.36%, with 446 kcal per 100 g. The herring is wild-caught and the raw material meets human food standards. The powder is recommended from 4 months of age and the pack holds 80 g.

Sprinkle it over the daily dry or wet food to add taste and variety. Treats should give no more than 10% of daily energy. Reduce the main food by that amount.

4 Käppa advice: start with a pinch and increase the amount only once your pet eats the food with the powder willingly. Food with the powder should not sit in the bowl; take away any uneaten wet food. Keep the pack closed at room temperature away from the sun, and always provide fresh drinking water.
