The ingredient list starts with dehydrated turkey and duck meat (26%), followed by sweet potato (13%), potato, turkey fat (10%), oat flakes, rice (5%) and turkey liver (5%). Rice is an easily digestible energy source and oats add fibre for steady digestion. Crude protein is 22%, crude fat 10% and crude fibre 3.2%; the energy content is 3200 kcal/kg. It contains glucosamine at 404 mg/kg and chondroitin sulphate at 353 mg/kg. Both are natural building blocks of joint cartilage. The food is made in Serbia without added artificial colourings and contains no GMOs.
The kibble is formed by cold pressing. According to the manufacturer, the reduced fat content helps older, less active dogs maintain their body weight and glucosamine and chondroitin sulphate support joint mobility.
4 Käppa advice: weigh your dog every couple of weeks and adjust the daily amount according to the table on the pack. Account for calories from treats and reduce the main food allowance accordingly. Switch to the new food over 7 to 10 days. Always provide fresh drinking water. If your dog's weight changes quickly, consult your vet.

Feeding guide
Daily amount according to the table on the pack and your dog's body weight. Cold-pressed food is denser than extruded kibble, so measure the portion with a kitchen scale or the KUDO measuring cup. Switch to the new food over 7 to 10 days by gradually mixing it with the current one. Fresh drinking water must always be available.
