Protexin Pro-Kolin Advanced liver-flavoured complementary food is meant for dogs. The 15 ml syringe for small and medium dogs has a dosing ring on the plunger.
The paste contains the probiotic Enterococcus faecium and the prebiotic Preplex®, which contains fructooligosaccharides and gum acacia. It also contains kaolin, montmorillonite, pectin, psyllium and beta-glucans. According to the manufacturer, kaolin and montmorillonite firm up the stool, pectin soothes the intestinal lining, psyllium binds excess water and beta-glucans support the immune system.
4 Käppa advice: find the dose for your dog's body weight on the pack, set the dosing ring according to the instructions and give the paste by mouth. If your dog is on medication, ask your vet whether and at what interval to give the paste. Pro-Kolin does not replace treatment. If diarrhoea lasts longer than a day or the dog is lethargic, consult a vet. If a puppy has diarrhoea, contact a vet immediately.

Composition

Crude protein 1.0%, Crude fibre 0.9%, Crude oils and fats 44.0%, Crude ash 21.0%, Hydrochloric acid insoluble ash 16.0%.
Additives
Gut flora stabilisers (per kg): Protexin probiotic Enterococcus faecium (DSM 10663/NCIMB 10415) 4b1707 2 × 10¹¹ CFU/kg; 2 × 10⁸ CFU/g.
Technological additives: bentonite montmorillonite 170,000 mg/kg, acacia (gum arabic, Preplex® prebiotic), kaolin.
Sensory additives: mixture of flavouring compounds (synthetic liver) 820 mg/kg.

Complementary feed for dogs. Give by mouth for as long as necessary or as advised by your vet. Depending on severity, it can be given up to 3 times a day. Set the dose with the dose wheel on the syringe plunger. Avoid giving oral macrolides at the same time; if the dog is on antibiotics, give the paste a few hours later. For animal use only.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Replace the cap securely after use. Pack size: 15 ml.
