The composition starts with grass meal; the manufacturer's figure for beneficial fibre is 36.6%, which supports digestion. Chewing hay plays the main role in natural tooth wear. Crude protein is 15.2% and crude fat 3.5%. Mint (1%) adds taste, the prebiotic FOS supports the gut and antioxidants the immune system. Every nugget has the same composition, so a guinea pig cannot pick out only the tastiest pieces.
The manufacturer's table gives 45 g a day for a guinea pig under 1 kg and 60 g over 1 kg; the exact amount is on the pack. A 1.5 kg bag lasts one animal roughly 25 to 33 days by calculation. The nuggets are a complementary food; hay should make up 85 to 90% of the daily diet.

Feeding guide
Daily amount according to the manufacturer's table: guinea pig under 1 kg 45 g, over 1 kg 60 g; the exact amount is on the pack. Hay or fresh grass should make up 85 to 90% of the daily diet; nuggets are a small portion, plus a handful of fresh greens every day. Fresh drinking water must be available at all times. Switch to the new food over 14 to 28 days by gradually mixing it into the current food.
